Foundation Nursing Scholarship Supports Future Health Care Leaders

The C. R.
Bard Foundation awarded scholarships to seven New Jersey students
for the 2007-2008 academic year. This year's award winners are
Bloomfield College student Gail Rodriguez, Felician College student
Julie Mathew, Fairleigh Dickinson University student Audra Giard,
Seton Hall University student Theresa Reilly, Monmouth University
student Rex David Gido, Saint Peter's College student Alice Hauptman
and College of Saint Elizabeth student Elizabeth Lazration.
Over the past
eleven years, Bard has awarded $172,000 in scholarships to more
than 60 nursing students through the Independent College Fund
of New Jersey. Undergraduate students compete for the annual $2,500
awards which support students pursuing their baccalaureate degrees
in nursing and planning a career in the health sciences.

PMK Group
awarded scholarships to two New Jersey college students for the
2007-2008 academic year. Christine Couzo of Stevens Institute
of Technology and Alistar Erickson-Ludwig of Drew University were
granted the PMK Scholarship for Environmental Science and Engineering
based on their academic achievement and promise for a career in
the field of environmental consulting and engineering.
PMK established
the scholarship with ICFNJ in 2005. Since that time they have
awarded 6 scholarships totaling $12,000.
