HOW TO APPLY
- Read through the list of scholarship opportunities carefully to
determine for which scholarships you may be eligible.
- Download and complete the ICFNJ Scholarship Application and Reference Letter forms.
- Forward to ICFNJ your completed application form and all supporting documentation. You may submit your application as an email attachment or via regular mail. Supporting documents which cannot be submitted via email should be mailed or faxed to ICFNJ.
- Completed applications must be postmarked no later than March 31 for scholarships to be awarded for use in the following academic year. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

SCHOLARSHIPS
C.R.
Bard Foundation Nursing Scholarship The C. R. Bard Foundation Nursing Scholarship recognizes outstanding nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, and extracurricular activities and who are planning careers in the health industry.
For Students Enrolled at: Bloomfield College, College of Saint Elizabeth, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Felician College, Georgian Court University, Monmouth University, Saint Peter’s College or Seton Hall University.
Scholarship Amount: $2,500
Number of Annual Awards: 8
Eligibility Requirements:
- be entering at least the second semester of your sophomore year, or the second semester of the second year of your nursing program;
- be enrolled full time;
- possess a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale;
- demonstrate financial need as determined by your financial aid director;
- be interested in pursuing a career in the health industry;
- be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
The
Sol J. Barer Scholarship in Life Sciences
The Sol J. Barer Scholarship in Life Sciences is sponsored by Celgene Corporation in honor of its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sol J. Barer, Ph.D. The Scholarship assists high achieving students attending New Jersey's independent colleges and universities to prepare for careers in the life sciences.
For Students Enrolled at: any ICFNJ member college or university (see list above)
Scholarship Amount: $2,500.
Number of Annual Awards: 3
Eligibility Requirements:
- be entering your junior or senior year;
- possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or better on a 4.0 scale;
- be majoring in one of the life sciences;
- demonstrate superior performance and promise for a career in the life sciences.
Birdsall Services Group Scholarship for Environmental Science & Engineering
The Birdsall Services Group Scholarship recognizes and promotes high achieving students who excel in areas of environmental science and/or engineering.
For Students Enrolled at: Drew University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Monmouth University, Princeton University, Rider University or Stevens Institute of Technology
Amount of Scholarship: $2,000

Eligibility Requirements:
- be entering your junior or senior year;
- be majoring in an appropriate field;
- demonstrate superior academic performance and promise for a career in environmental consulting and/or engineering.
J.H.
Cohn Scholarship
Established in 2006, this scholarship recognizes and rewards high achieving students preparing for careers in public accounting.
For Students Enrolled at: Fairleigh Dickinson University, Monmouth University or Seton Hall University.
Scholarship Amount: $2,000

Kings
Super Markets, Inc. Independent College Fund Scholarship
The Kings Super Markets, Inc. Independent College Fund Scholarship provides an opportunity or Kings associates and their children who wish to attend one of the private college or universities in New Jersey. The purpose of the scholarship program is to attract and keep associates and to emphasize the importance of family by assisting the children of Kings associates in the pursuit of their educational goals.
For Students Enrolled at: any ICFNJ member college or university (see list above)
Scholarship Amount: up to $1,000
Number of Annual Awards: Varies
Eligibility Requirements:
- be enrolled in no fewer than two courses each term toward an associate, bachelor or graduate degree;
- children of associates must have a parent or legal guardian currently employed by Kings on a continuous full-time or part-time basis for at least five years in good standing;
- associates must plan to work at least 500 hours between September 1 and August 31 of the following year; have made a significant contribution to work, school and/or community.
Martin
R. Sullivan Memorial/ PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholarship
The Martin R. Sullivan Memorial/PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholarship was created in memory of the late Martin R. Sullivan, a partner at Coopers & Lybrand, who had an interest in accounting education at New Jersey's independent colleges and in the preparation of students entering the accounting profession. The scholarship assists high achieving students to prepare for careers in public accounting.
For Students Enrolled at: Fairleigh Dickinson University, Monmouth University or Seton Hall University

Teaneck Rotary
Nursing Scholarship
The Teaneck Nursing Scholarship was created to recognize outstanding nursing students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship and leadership. Preference will be given to Teaneck/Bergen County residents.
