| Open to students of all faiths, Georgian Court University is a Catholic, comprehensive university with a strong liberal arts foundation and a special concern for women. Georgian Court offers a curriculum broad enough to be truly liberal, yet specialized enough to provide in-depth preparation for further study and future careers. Georgian Court University is organized into the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, and the School of Education. Courses are offered through GCU’s historic Women’s College, which houses more than 30 undergraduate programs, and through University College, GCU’s co-educational program that serves undergraduates and offers 12 graduate degrees. Founded and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, Georgian Court University is committed to the cultivation of scholarly study and dialogue. Since 1924, the university has been located on a magnificent 150-acre estate, which is a national historic landmark bordering Lake Carasaljo in residential Lakewood. | |
